The AAPC has introduced Project Xtern. This is an excellent externship opportunity program enabling newly certified coders the opportunity to receive hands on training.
Once you receive your member number from the AAPC (2- 3 weeks following the start of class) you will be able to locate participating Xternship facilities in your area.
